Extra Large Apartment, Secure Parking-City Centre

I really appreciated all the attentions to details by the hosts. I felt welcomed in every way. Positive: The check-in and check-out was contactless, super easy communication with owners. The provisions provided at the property were sufficient, all the facilities as described,The best place I've stayed in Cairns. The location is just perfect what ever you decide to do, it's central and still quiet in the apartment.The screened in lanai made the property refreshing with the south-easterly sea breezes. I hardly used the A/C even on humid days.There are fans every room. The apartment is super spacious with tiled floors everywhere, there are fly-wire screens on every window. I loved waking up for the sunrise and watching cruise ship coming in. I had refreshing dips in the swimming pool after a long walk, the water temperature was around 22-23 degrees by the afternoon. I used the washing machine and dryer as well clothes airer, washing powder was provided. As I had a long stay I had vacuumed the place, it's my preference to keep allergy at bay. The bed was quite high, kind of high futon bed, the mattress medium, I prefer even firmer, but that's personal taste. Otherwise I had a private relaxing time and the only problem was I had to leave.... Negative: Really can not fault anything.

Great place to stay when in Cairns and great communication from the owner. Positive: Location, size of apartment, facilities and communication. Negative: Nothing.

Space and location on Abbott Positive: This is a very spacious apartment in a fantastic location with beautiful views. We loved the sunroom off the living room and master bedroom and that you could see the view while lying in bed! It's great having two bathrooms and we showered in the second one as it's separate, rather than over the bath as in the ensuite. It has an excellent laundry. It's handy to the lagoon pool and cafes and was a very short walk to the pick up point for the bus transfer to the Smithfield depot for the Skyrail to Kuranda. Negative: There is only one lift in the building and, unfortunately, it was out for four of the five days we stayed - quite inconvenient for a fifth floor apartment! While it has a good kitchen and plenty of coffee mugs and beer glasses, it could do with some more equipment, eg a set of all purpose wine glasses, a paring knife, and scissors. It'd be good if the host would check if the sofa bed in the living room is required. We didn't use it and had to fold it up to have somewhere to sit and watch TV.

Great location and value for money. Positive: Great location, near the docks and tour pick up points. Also a short walk away from the lagoon. Great value for the money. Negative: If I’m being really nitpicky… there was a smell for a closet. Maybe paint or something similar. But on the other hand, you’ll have windows open, so this won’y be an issue.

Positive: Apartment was light, bright, roomy and comfortable . The second bathroom was a very good bonus . Kitchen was large and we'll stocked with provisions Host was very helpful to attend to our needs and requirements prior to check-in and quick to respond to all messages sent during our stay The water views were beautiful We would be happy to stay here again Negative: The mattress was too firm for one of us. It was very comfortable for the other Bed was a bit too high Host provided bedding for the sofa bed in case it was needed
